Privacy statement

This statement explains which personal data n8n-expert.net processes, why we do that and what your rights are. In short: we only collect what we need to answer your question or request.
Who is responsible
n8n-expert.net is a website of Club von Westen, a sole proprietorship registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK) under number 73557390, located at Frits Touwstraat 14, 3075 RS Rotterdam, the Netherlands. We are the controller for the processing described here.

What we collect and why
When you send a message or request a workflow
The contact form asks for your name, email address and message, and optionally your company. The request form also asks which tools the workflow should connect, where your n8n runs, your budget, when you need it and whether a generic version may be published.
We use this to reply to you and, for a request, to assess whether and for what price we can build the workflow. With each message we also store the date and time, the language of the form and the country your connection comes from. Cloudflare derives that country from your IP address; we do not store the IP address itself.
Legal basis: for questions, our legitimate interest in answering them (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)); for workflow requests, taking steps at your request before a possible agreement (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
Spam protection
The forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to keep out spam. It runs a check in your browser. When you submit the form, your IP address and the result of that check are sent to Cloudflare to confirm that a person sent the message. We do not store your IP address.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in protecting the site against abuse.
Visitor statistics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits, for example which pages are read, how visitors arrived and from which country and type of device. It does not use cookies and does not build profiles of individual visitors.
Legal basis: our legitimate interest in improving the site.
Publishing a generic workflow
If you tick that a generic version of your workflow may be published, we publish it only without your name, company, data and credentials. You can withdraw this consent before publication by emailing us.
Legal basis: your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)).
Cookies
n8n-expert.net does not place cookies, and we do not use advertising or tracking cookies. For how Cloudflare handles data for Turnstile and Web Analytics, see the Cloudflare privacy policy.
Who processes your data for us
- Cloudflare, Inc. hosts the site, stores form messages in a database in Western Europe, runs the spam check and the visitor statistics, and forwards email sent to our @n8n-expert.net addresses. Cloudflare processes this data on our behalf under a data processing agreement. Cloudflare is based in the United States; transfers outside the EU are covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses.
- Our email provider receives the email you send us and the replies we send.
We do not sell your data and do not share it with anyone else, unless the law requires us to.
How long we keep your data
Messages and requests from the forms are deleted automatically 24 months after the last contact. We keep email correspondence for the same period. If your request leads to an agreement, we keep what we need for our records for as long as the law requires, usually seven years for tax purposes.
Visitor statistics are aggregated and contain no data we can trace back to you.
Security
The site only runs over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Only we can read the messages, in a dashboard that is protected with a login through Cloudflare Access. We do not collect more data than we need.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive your data in a structured format. If you gave consent, you can withdraw it at any time.
Email [email protected] and we will respond within one month. We may ask you to confirm your identity first, so that we do not give your data to someone else.
If you think we handle your data incorrectly, please contact us first. You can also file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
Other things you should know
We do not use automated decision-making or profiling. This site is not aimed at children under 16.
Changes
We update this statement when the way we process data changes. The date at the top shows the current version.
